Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the Nigerian government’s terrorism charges against him.

Following his arraignment before a federal high court in Abuja at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, Kanu pleaded not guilty.

Recall that the federal government recently modified the allegations against him, increasing them from five to seven counts, bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism, from the five counts he was previously facing.
