At Kwahu Nsabaa in the Kwahu West Municipality in the Eastern region, a 35-year-old man named Issaka allegedly impregnated his 17-year-old stepdaughter.
Two of the suspect’s own daughters are also suspected of have been sexually abused.
Abena Joyce, a 30-year-old mother, narrated that her husband usually takes advantage of the children while she is not present.
On Thursday, local chiefs poured libation to cleanse the neighborhood.
Ebenezer Kojo Nyavor, the chief of Kwahu Nsabaa Nana Osei twum Barimah expressed shock over the incident, saying it was the first of its type since he became a chief.
He claimed that the penalty would act as a deterrent to others.
“This is incredible; Nananom has poured libation to cleanse the land; it is now up to the family to report the incident to the police so that appropriate action can be taken.”
The libation was consumed after the children acknowledged that their father was having sexual relations with them.
