Yahaya The White Lion, a film on Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello, will be premiered to a limited audience at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on Saturday, January 15th.
The 46-year-old governor’s life and achievements are chronicled in the film written and produced by Seun Oloketuyi, director and convener of the Best of Nollywood, BON, awards.
According to Seun, principal photography for the movie kicked off in the third week of September 2021 in different locations around Kogi State including Lokoja and Lagos State before the actual shooting of the movie.
The movie boasts of a stellar cast made up of Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu who played Yahaya Bello, Roseanne Chikwendu as Rashidat Bello, the Kogi State First Lady, comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, Aisha Lawal and a host of others. It was directed by ace movie director, Tunde Laoye.
