Davido adds land of $6m to long list of possessions, intends to build dream house

The Nigerian singer showed off the vast land he has acquired in one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in the heart of Nigeria. The yet to be developed land is sitting in the plush Banana Island vicinity of Lagos.

According to the African superstar, he will be raising his dream house on the land. “Let’s build our dream home,” he said in a Tweet after he posted a photo of himself standing on the land.

Davido also took to his Instastory to post photos of the land. He captioned one of the posts, “to God be the glory! Just acquired my new land to build my dream home”. In another post, he said, “Im bouutta build the craziest crib yall ever seen!!!”

Some showed at the site after seeing Davido and he told them that “my land be this, so una go help me look after the land” and they responded “no wahala”.

According to Nigerian blogger, Tunde Ednut, who is also known as a close associate to the singer, he contacted Davido and the singer showed him a receipt for the payment of the land and it is worth $6 million.

“OBO just actually showed me the receipt of this land on a call just now. I see receipt, na me fear. Zero too plenty. Wow! Just land in Banana Island. House never dey on top Oo! Abeg, let me go think about my life abeg. It is well. N2,500,000,000 = $6,000,000,” Tunde Ednut wrote as a caption to the post below.

Nana Otedola blesses DJ Cuppy with prayers for a partner after baptism

Nana Otedola, the mother of popular disc jockey Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, has prayed for her daughter following her recent baptism.

DJ Cuppy and her younger sister, Temi Otedola, were baptized recently and shared videos of the ceremony, which their mother attended.

Following this event, Nana Otedola expressed her hopes for DJ Cuppy, who is seeking a life partner.

DJ Cuppy posted a screenshot of a conversation with her mother, in which Nana prayed that God would bless her with a man who is devoted to Him.

She encouraged DJ Cuppy by saying that as she grows into her best self and strengthens her bond with God, she will encounter a man who is on a similar path.

“Now that you are becoming your best self and fully united to God, when you are not watching, you will meet a man on his own best self journey. God will give you a man who is running after Him IJN”, Nana wrote.

Why I am not ready to have kids now – Burna Boy

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has opened up about why he is not ready to be a father yet.

The ‘City Boys’ crooner said he is not ready to have kids yet because he can’t give them the attention they deserve.

The entertainer stated this while responding to a question raised by a fan during a recent Instagram live session with his fans.

He explained that he would have children when he was settled or married.

“Why haven’t I had kids yet? Bro, because I don’t want to have kids yet,” Burna boy said.

“Have you seen my mum the way she loves me? Have you seen my dad the way he loves me?I know I can’t give that to anyone right now with the life I’m living. So until I’m settled and I can be there for my children everyday, I’m not having no kid.

“I feel like my kids deserved better than I got. And I got both my mum and dad so you understand?”

On the allegations that he is impotent, Burna Boy said, “When I see the bants and the things people say [about me not being able to have kids], I said this is unimportant. Let’s assume that it is true that I couldn’t even have kids, you know that there’s something called IVF? But that is not even true.”

Burna Boy started to gain fame after releasing ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013).

Burna Boy claimed he brought the Afrobeats genre to the mainstream in 2020.

“FACT! I always knew I was and I am THE BEST. Everyone you think is the best KNOWS I’m BEST since Fela Kuti,” he said.

There might be good news in the corners of young men who have been hoping to date popular Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr, following her recent disclosure.

The singer, known otherwise as Sabi Girl, opened up about her relationship status, noting that she is still single at age 21.

She, however, expressed her hopes to find love soon, while admitting that she has broken a few hearts.

Speaking in a recent interview the singer said, “I am not in love yet but [I will be] soon. I have broken a few hearts. Not on purpose, though. In case I’ve broken anybody’s heart, it has not been on purpose.”
