Yul Edochie tackles online-in-laws over second wife (Video)

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has hinted that there’s a reason for his decision to marry a second wife.

The actor faced backlash after unveiling his second wife and revealing they have a child together last Wednesday. Reacting to the news, many accused him of being unfair to his wife of 17 years, May, especially since he severally attested that she never troubled him even when he had nothing.

However, reacting to the backlash during an Instagram live session with Music executive, Paul Okoye, Yul said a lot of people dragging him do not know the root of the matter. He reiterated that there’s a reason for his action, but he’ll not share it to avoid people seeing his wife, May, as a bad person.

“People are talking about something they don’t know the root of, there’s always a reason for something, everyone that is shouting an insulting me they don’t live in my house and as a man you don’t come out to say everything in public I’ll rather take all the heat, they will not understand “. He said in part.

Meanwhile, Yul Edochie’s elder brother, Uche, has said their family is not in support of Yul’s second marriage.

Yul Edochie caused a stir on social media on Wednesday after he went public with his second marriage to colleague Judy Austin and revealed they have a son together.

Reacting to the news, Yul’s brother, in a lengthy Instagram post, said his brother’s wife of 17 years, May, has been unfairly treated.

He emphasized that Yul’s marriage to actress Judy Austin was not supported by the Edochie family, who counseled him against going ahead with the marriage, but he refused.

Popular Nigerian actress Bisola Aiyeola has disclosed that she stopped taking some acting roles when she became a mother.

The Reality TV star, who is a single mother of one said she is always conscious of the acting roles she accepts in the movie industry because of her child.

“I have a growing child and sometimes some of the roles you take can affect her positively or negatively. Especially because she is growing… You have other children around her who have different thoughts on what their parents do and so I have to be careful with some stories because I have to think that, in the long run, would it be a good look for my child?” The actress asked.

The actress said her trajectory has been one of patience and putting her daughter first, no matter what.

She said, unknown to many, that she has been in the industry for years, even before going on the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2017.

As the world welcomes the new year 2024, Abdul-Razak Failatu has started her attempt to set a Guinness World Record (GWR) of the longest cooking marathon.

This is coming days after Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum’s sing-a-thon world record attempt officially ended after six days.

Failatu Abdul-Razak started her attempt on the eve on the New Year – 2024 in Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana.

She is attempting to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.

She is aiming to clock for 120-hours.

She is working from the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.

I no longer watch football – says DJ Cuppy amid Man United struggles

Popular Nigerian disc jockey and Manchester United fan, DJ Cuppy, has revealed that she doesn’t watch football matches any longer.

Cuppy, who is well-known to be a supporter of the red side of Manchester, disclosed this on her X page recently.

She wrote, “FYI [for your information]—I no longer watch football,” attaching a sad emoji at the end.

The tweet has since garnered viral reactions with many alluding that Cuppy‘s decision to stop watching football is not unconnected from United’s current dip in form.
