24-year-old son of billionaire Rasaq Okoya, named Jubril Okoya, who tied the knot 2 months ago, has birthed a daughter today and his 45-year-old mum, Sade Okoya is beyond excited.

More interestingly and coincidentally, the baby girl made her triumphant arrival on her father, Jubril’s birthday.

Announcing the good news, the newest grandmother in town, Sade Okoya wrote “Happy Birthday Jubril Thank you @jubrilokoya and @saraisabellax for blessing me also today with a new addition.I’m so excited to see what Allah has in store for you and your family. double celebration. ThankfulHeart #ShadeOkoya”

A close source who spoke to Kemi Filani disclosed that Jubril had to get married to Sara two months ago, after impregnating her. We gathered that it took several pleas and meetings between the two families before the marriage eventually took place in time enough for the bride to proceed abroad to deliver the baby,

“We all know Sade loves to go extra for her celebrations but she couldn’t go as extra as she will have wanted for the wedding because the bride was already very heavy. And if you notice, the few photos released online of her weren’t full ones, it is either half portraits and she had to wear flowy gowns to hide the protruding tummy, not many videos were allowed to be posted online from the occasion, which is unusual of the Okoyas” our source disclosed.

Recall that Sade Okoya, on her 44th birthday had cried out to God to spare her 81-year-old husband’s life to see their children get married and also their grandchildren.

Appreciating God and her husband for grooming her into who she is today, the mother of four had said “Everything that I am and will be, is my husband and God. I appreciate everything and I don’t take things for granted. I don’t have much that I would take for granted.

I just pray God blesses my business and may God grant my husband long life to be able to do the wedding for our children and he will also see their grandchildren too. I’m not asking for too much. I am content with what I have. This is my brainchild of a few months ago and lots have been done to active it. Glory be to God and my hubby.”

Speaking further, Sade Okoya said “God has blessed me with a wonderful husband. We understand each other and we try to do everything possible for both ourselves and our children’s sake. So I’m very grateful, my husband is a wonderful person and he appreciates and understands me.”

Mrs Sade married Chief Razaq in 1999 when she was 21 and he was 59. The beautiful couple has been married for more than 20 years and is blessed with four children.

We say congratulations to the Okoyas on the new addition.

Former federal lawmaker and entertainment mogul, Shina Peller, has dismissed rumours suggesting he is related to popular TikTok star Peller.

In a recent interview with Channels TV, Peller clarified that despite the widespread recognition of the “Peller” name, the TikTok comedian is not part of the renowned Peller family.

The Peller family, known for its association with the legendary magician Professor Peller, is widely recognised in Nigerian entertainment history. Shina Peller explained that the name “Peller” was bestowed upon his father due to his career as a magician, and it has since become an adopted family name.

“The name ‘Peller’ was given to our father as a magician, and it’s a name that the family has adopted since the time of my father,” Shina Peller added.

Addressing the TikTok star’s use of the name, he remarked, “Peller, the comedian, is not a member of the Peller family. It’s a successful name.

He’s just being smart. He’s been able to pop with the name. You can’t blame him but I can tell you categorically that he’s not a member of the Peller family.”

Shina Peller’s statement clears up the confusion surrounding the relationship between him and the TikTok personality, emphasising that while the name “Peller” is successful and widely known, it does not necessarily imply familial ties.

Tacha originally got the tattoo of Davido before participating in the 2019 Big Brother Naija reality show. The tattoo symbolised her admiration for the superstar singer, but their relationship took a sour turn in October 2023.

The fallout began when Tacha criticised Davido for liking a tweet that disparaged her fellow BBNaija alum, Phyna. In response, Davido liked another tweet that subtly shaded Tacha, escalating tensions between the two.

During the heated exchange, Tacha vowed to remove the tattoo, a promise she has now fulfilled. The video, which has since gone viral, shows the intricate procedure of removing the ink.

Tacha, who recently relocated to the UK, captioned the video with reflections on moving forward and letting go of past attachments.

Fans have been reacting to the development, with many commending her decision while others questioned the significance of the tattoo in the first place.
