Davido pens heartfelt note to his father, recounts his impact in his life

Highly celebrated singer, David Adeleke, better known by his stage name, Davido has penned an heartwarming note to his father, Adedeji Adeleke.

Taking to his Instagram story, Davido recounted his father’s impact on his life.

He credited him for teaching him humility, hard work, and life principles.

Davido attested that his father is the one who taught him that wealth shouldn’t change one’s personality.

Describing his father as his twin, Davido appreciated him for his help and advice.

“I dey wake up everyday dey thank God say nah u born me! THE GREATEST TO EVER DO IT! You taught me humility; you taught me hard work; you taught me that no matter how rich/successful you get, never change u wey born! I love and appreciate you, daddy!!! Senator Ademola Adeleke, the uncle of award-winning singer, Davido and the incoming governor of Osun State, had left many in awe over his respect and regard for his brother, Adedeji Adeleke.

It is no longer news that the senator had been declared the winner of the 2023 Governorship election in Osun State after scoring the highest vote.

In a viral video, Senator Adeleke, sitting with Davido’s father, shocked many with his gesture.

Immediately after he was announced the winner, Senator Adeleke prostrated before Davido’s father.

This had melted the hearts of Nigerians as many took to the comment section to praise him.

Before his uncle was declared winner, Davido warmed the hearts of many as he couldn’t hold his tears after realising that his uncle was the leading power in the Osun State governorship election.

Reports which made rounds suggested that Adeleke was leading in the election, with many polling units voting for him.

Results from the Independent National Electoral Commission portal show that the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Adeleke, was leading.

The news thrilled the father of three who wanted a better change in his motherland and country.

The singer, who couldn’t contain his joy, was seen hugging his uncle as they celebrated his success.

They got so emotional that they began to cry as they awaited the final results.
