Wizkid gets mocked as fast rising singer, Asake dethrones him

Nigerians are having a field day reacting to the news of fast rising singer, Asake dethroning Grammy singer, Wizkid from the top chart.

Since his entrance into the music industry, the fast rising singer has no doubt taken the industry by storm.

The YBNL signee has been topping charts with his album.

Wizkid released his first singer after two years.

The Grammy singer no doubt broke the internet when he dropped his first single in 2 years, “Bad to Me”.

The new song was however met with mixed reviews. While many rated the song ‘a hit song’, others tagged the song ‘wack’.

Despite the unrest the song caused between Davido and May D, and the hyping of Wizkid’s FC, Bad To Me isn’t leading the charts.

Asake has dethroned Wizkid with the top spot. Three of his songs, ‘Organise, Terminator and Joha’ has topped the charts.

WizKids new song is now 4th on the chart.

While Wizkid’s FC are sad about the news, others have seized the opportunity to ridicule Wizkid for losing the top spot to an upcoming artiste.

The influencer’s eye-catching and glamorous outfits at events have become a trending topic on social media and have fast made her the cynosure of all eyes.

Despite not being an actress or belonging to the movie industry, Priscilla always scores an invite to celebrity-packed events because of her high taste in fashion.

In celebration of Nigerian filmmakers, streaming service, Netflix hosted a Grand exclusive dinner on Sunday night, August 14th.

The event which was tagged ‘Lights, Camera and Naija” had several Nollywood stars in attendance, with the theme of the night being flamboyantly and glamorously Nigerian.

Iyabo Ojo’s daughter who had scored an invite to the exclusive event had outshined Nollywood stars with her outfit which oozed glamour and royalty in a white dress.

Taking to her Instagram page to reshare some of her photos from the event, Iyabo Ojo announced that her daughter’s bride price had gone up for the third time.

Hailing her for her fashion sense, she noted how the Apple doesn’t fall from the tree.

Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic-Anosike, has dished out a savage response to a inquisitive fan who asked for her body count.

Body count is basically the number of persons one has been sexually intimate with. The fan, who was curious to know the 48-year-old thespian’s body count, took to Twitter to pose the question at her.
