Honda Wave 110S Nigeria has officially launched, offering an affordable, stylish, and fuel-efficient motorcycle tailored to everyday riders across the country.

The launch, held over the weekend, was led by Honda Nigeria’s Managing Director, Mr. Tetsuya Kawai, who described the Wave 110S as a major step in Honda’s mission to deliver quality and accessible mobility for Nigerians.

“The Wave 110S is more than just a motorcycle — it’s a dependable, efficient solution for everyday commuting needs,” Kawai stated.

“With features like under-seat storage, hand-start function, and sporty design, it delivers both comfort and practicality.”

The Honda Wave 110S Nigeria edition is priced at N1.64 million, inclusive of all benefits.

Though Honda assembles in Nigeria, Kawai highlighted challenges such as erratic policies and power supply.

Still, he reaffirmed Honda’s commitment to expanding across all regions of the country.

Olabode Badejo, Division Manager, added: “The Wave 110S is ideal for private users who value ease, design, and durability. It’s stylish, easy to maintain, and gives a smooth riding experience.”

Marketing Manager Emmanuel Ugbebor emphasized that the model was designed for Nigerian road conditions.

“The Wave 110S is not just a motorcycle — it’s a reliable partner for work, family, and life.”

The launch follows Honda’s global milestone of producing over 500 million motorcycles and marks a continued push to empower Nigerian riders economically and socially.

Komine Tetsuya, from Honda’s Motorcycle Business Unit, described the debut as a step toward enhancing mobility and rider confidence in Nigeria.
