BUA Foods H1 2025 financial results reveal 99% profit growth to ₦260.1bn, with revenue up 36% to ₦912.5bn and assets hitting ₦1.33tn

BUA Foods H1 2025 Financial Results reveal a powerful performance, with net profit nearly doubling year-on-year to ₦260.1 billion, up from ₦130.9 billion in H1 2024.

The company reported revenue of ₦912.5 billion, a 36% increase from ₦672.4 billion in the same period last year, according to its unaudited results filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited.

Gross profit surged 55% to ₦339.3 billion, driven by controlled cost increases and strong market demand. Operating profit also jumped to ₦284.8 billion, compared to ₦202.3 billion in H1 2024.

Despite a decline in finance income from ₦9.2 billion to ₦1.1 billion, reduced finance costs and a foreign exchange gain of ₦407 million helped boost the bottom line.

Profit before tax rose sharply to ₦276.1 billion, while earnings per share doubled to 14.45 kobo.

Total assets grew to ₦1.33 trillion, up from ₦1.1 trillion, reflecting ongoing capital investment.

Total equity strengthened to ₦689.1 billion, from ₦429.1 billion in December 2024.

The BUA Foods H1 2025 financial results also show a strong balance sheet with reduced liabilities, increased cash reserves, and improved current assets.
