Elvis Nosakhare sentenced to six years in the UK for sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s underage daughter. He will remain on the sex offenders register for life

Elvis Nosakhare Sentenced to six years in prison for sexually abusing the underage daughter of his girlfriend in the United Kingdom, according to a statement from Thames Valley Police.

The 41-year-old Nigerian national was convicted on five counts, including penetrative and non-penetrative sexual activity with a minor.

Nosakhare met the victim’s mother through an online dating platform before committing the abuse, which police described as a “disgusting betrayal of trust.”

Following his conviction, Nosakhare was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on July 29 and will now be listed permanently on the UK Sex Offenders Register. The court also issued restraining order to protect the victim.

Detective Constable Bryn Smith of the Child Abuse Unit praised the victim’s courage during the investigation and trial. “Her bravery has ensured justice was served,” Smith stated, urging other abuse victims to report offences without fear.

Thames Valley Police reaffirmed its commitment to supporting survivors and prosecuting abusers, noting that specially trained officers handle such sensitive cases.

Nigerian healthcare worker Adewale Kudabo was sentenced in June to 12 months’ imprisonment for sexually assaulting a female patient while working at York Hospital. The UK judge, Alex Menary, described it as a serious abuse of trust.
