Adekunle Olapade sparks debate on BBNaija intimacy, saying nudity fuels attraction and intimacy among housemates despite public criticism

Speaking on a podcast with Pulse, the former housemate said contestants regularly see one another naked, a reality that often triggers attraction and, in some cases, intimacy.

“A lot of people who watch Big Brother Naija are very hypocritical,” he remarked. “There is actually nothing wrong with two people who like each other deciding to get intimate.

All the housemates see each other naked, in case you don’t know. You cannot be in a house with somebody you see without clothes almost every day and not be attracted. It won’t work.”

His comments follow controversies surrounding leaked intimate videos involving housemates Koyin and Isabella, as well as Jason Jae and Sultana.

Adekunle, who first appeared in the Level Up season in 2022 before returning for the All Stars edition in 2023, argued that such relationships should not be demonised.

He suggested that intimacy is an inevitable by-product of the artificial environment that forces strangers to live closely under constant surveillance.

The remarks have divided fans online, with some agreeing that human attraction in such a setting is natural, while others criticised the defence of explicit conduct on the show.
