Allwell Ademola burial details have been announced, with a service of songs, candlelight vigil and burial scheduled in Lagos

The burial committee for late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has announced the programme for her final rites, following her death on December 27, 2025.

In a statement released on Thursday, the committee confirmed that a Service of Songs will be held on Thursday, January 8, in honour of the actress, who reportedly died after suffering a heart attack at her residence.

The service will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, after which preparations will begin for a candlelight procession scheduled between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

According to the statement, the procession will move from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and return to LTV 8, where an Artistes’ Night will follow.

The evening programme is expected to conclude with closing remarks at 11:00 pm.

The committee further disclosed that Allwell Ademola will be laid to rest on Friday, January 9, at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.

Attendees for Thursday’s activities are expected to wear a customised T-shirt, which will be made available at the venue, while guests attending the burial on Friday have been asked to appear in white shirts and jeans.
