Brighton & Hove Albion have dismissed speculation that Zadok Yohanna will be loaned out, confirming the Nigerian winger will stay and develop at the club for the 2026/27 Premier League season

Brighton & Hove Albion have firmly shut down rumours suggesting that summer signing Zadok Yohanna will be sent out on loan during the 2026/27 season.

The highly-rated Nigerian winger joined the Seagulls last month from Swedish club AIK Stockholm in a £21.5 million deal, beating competition from Newcastle United and Chelsea.

According to Greek journalist Dimitris Manakos, the club has no intention of letting the youngster leave on a temporary basis.

Instead, Brighton plan to integrate him into the first-team squad and give him the opportunity to continue his development at the Amex Stadium.

Yohanna is expected to take part in Brighton’s pre-season preparations and will be included in the squad for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

The 20-year-old’s arrival represents another shrewd investment by the Seagulls in young, high-potential talent.
