British-Nigerian rapper Darkoo has spoken candidly about her desire to become a parent, revealing her motherhood baby plans in a recent interview.

The Favourite Girl hitmaker, born Oluwafisayo Isa, said she wants to have children but has no interest in carrying a baby herself. She shared the update while speaking with Madame Joyce, saying she believes she would make a great mother.

“I’m at a phase in my life when I’m thinking about having kids,” Darkoo said. “I feel like I would be a great mom, but I don’t want to carry the baby in my womb. My partner is going to carry it.”

The rapper, who came out as gay publicly, added that being a mother is about much more than biology. She stressed that real motherhood involves love and care, regardless of blood ties.

Darkoo’s comments have added a new layer to her public persona, as fans have often praised her for being honest and expressive about her life. She previously said that telling her parents about her sexuality brought relief and improved her mental well-being.

“In 2024, when I opened up to my mum about my sexuality, I felt like a huge weight had lifted,” she said at the time.
