Mr Eazi’s emotional healing break after mother’s death earns support from fans as he reveals guilt turned to gratitude during year-long holiday

Award-winning Nigerian singer and business mogul, Mr. Eazi, has revealed that he took an extended break from public life to focus on emotional healing and mental recovery following the death of his mother.

In a heartfelt post shared on social media, the “Legalize” singer said he had spent the year on vacation, initially feeling guilty but later embracing the much-needed rest.

“I’ve been on holiday all year. I started feeling guilty but then I realised I’ve been working since I was 15! Rest is a blessing! Choplife season!” he shared, earning praise from fans and peers.

The artiste’s mother passed away earlier this year, and though he kept the loss private at the time, close friends have now confirmed that his time off was crucial for grieving and reflection.

The funeral was held quietly, attended by family and a few close associates.
