In stoppage time, Cincinnati’s Miles Robinson saw a potential game-winner ruled out due to a controversial foul on Noah Allen.

Miami remain seven points behind Cincinnati in the standings, missing a key opportunity to close the gap.

Despite the result, the club had reason to celebrate. Before kickoff, they officially unveiled Rodrigo De Paul, Messi’s World Cup-winning teammate. The 31-year-old joins from Atletico Madrid and brings elite experience to the MLS.

De Paul expressed enthusiasm for the new chapter: “What brings me to Inter Miami is the desire to compete, win titles, to write the pages in the club’s history.”

Inter co-owner David Beckham welcomed De Paul warmly, calling him “a leader with experience, passion, and quality,” and lauding the signing as a major step in Inter Miami’s ambitions.
