Rachisols Foundation powers clinic in a remote part of Abia State, delivering a transformative solar energy system to the Aumuvi Primary Health Centre in Arochukwu Local Government Area.

The unveiling, which took place on August 7, marks a powerful milestone in the foundation’s mission to uplift healthcare services in underserved Nigerian communities.

The project falls under Project Enrich 3, a flagship initiative designed to equip rural health centres with sustainable electricity through solar installations.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Oluwatobi Lasisi, head of the RSF Healthcare Scheme, said,

“This is about more than power — it’s about saving lives. Reliable electricity is fundamental to primary healthcare, and this system ensures uninterrupted care, especially during emergencies.”

The launch drew praise and participation from key figures, including Mrs. Princilla Otti, First Lady of Abia State, who officially commissioned the project.

Her presence symbolized the government’s growing support for grassroots healthcare and clean energy initiatives.

Installed in collaboration with Tudu Energy, led by CEO Mr. Touyo Dudu, the solar system aims to guarantee 24/7 access to power, ensuring vaccines, medications, and equipment are properly preserved and healthcare staff can operate efficiently.

Representing the foundation at the event, Ms. Symbyat Ajao, Project Lead, emphasized community involvement as essential to sustainability.
