The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement made available to the media on Thursday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today, September 4, to commence a working vacation in Europe, as part of his 2025 annual leave. The vacation will last 10 working days,” Onanuga stated.

  • Start Date: September 4, 2025
  • Duration: 10 working days
  • Locations: France and the United Kingdom
  • Return: Expected after the conclusion of the vacation

The Presidency described the trip as a working vacation, although no further details have been provided about potential meetings or engagements during the stay abroad.
