Tiwa Savage reveals she was in a secret relationship with a fellow celebrity who insisted on keeping their romance private to avoid suspicion

Nigerian music superstar Tiwa Savage has opened up about a past romantic relationship with a fellow celebrity who insisted their romance remain private.

Speaking on the popular Joe Budden Podcast, Tiwa disclosed how the male celebrity would publicly talk to other people when they appeared together, deliberately throwing off suspicion.

“He told me he didn’t want us to go public. He said, ‘When we’re out, I might be talking to other people, but I’m only doing it so people don’t suspect,’” Tiwa recounted.

Despite finding the explanation plausible at first, Tiwa described the dynamic as “disrespectful” and emotionally draining.

She explained, “He had it good. We might be at the same event, and he’s probably talking, laughing, even touching other ladies while still looking at me like, ‘Don’t worry, I’m just doing it.’ And I couldn’t say anything. It was happening right in front of me.”
