Tim Sherwood advises Manchester United to sign Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton to strengthen squad for Premier League title challenge

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tim Sherwood has identified two players Manchester United should sign to bolster their Premier League title ambitions.

Speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Podcast, Sherwood suggested Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest and Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace as key targets for the upcoming summer transfer window.

“He won’t be at Nottingham Forest next season. Unfortunately for Forest, he won’t be. I think he will be at Man United,” Sherwood said of Anderson.

He added that Wharton “could also be at Man United,” calling both acquisitions essential if the club wants to compete for the Premier League title.

Sherwood described the signings as a form of “surgery” needed to revitalise Manchester United’s squad and improve their chances of domestic success.
