Opta supercomputer predicts Premier League top five, with Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Liverpool and Aston Villa leading Champions League race

Opta’s Supercomputer on Monday, released its latest projections in England, predicting the final Premier League top five positions as the race for Champions League qualification intensifies.

The data model suggests that Arsenal and Manchester City have already secured two of the five available Champions League slots for next season, reflecting their dominant campaigns.

According to the projection, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Aston Villa are heavily favoured to claim the remaining three places, each given a 97 percent probability of finishing in the top five.

The analysis places all three clubs in a tight battle, with only three points separating them as the season approaches its final stages.

Aston Villa and Liverpool currently occupy fourth and fifth positions respectively, while Manchester United remain firmly in contention just ahead of the closing fixtures.

The model also shows that the trio hold a significant eight-point gap over Brighton in sixth place, further strengthening their advantage in the qualification race.

The projection underlines a second consecutive season in which England is expected to send five clubs to Europe’s elite competition, reflecting the league’s continued strength in UEFA rankings.
