Derek Chisora predicts a Joshua knockout over Fury inside four rounds ahead of the proposed Saudi showdown

British heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora has predicted that Anthony Joshua will stop Tyson Fury inside four rounds when the two rivals finally meet in a long-anticipated all-British heavyweight showdown expected later this year.

Speaking to Sun Sport ahead of the proposed November clash, Chisora said Joshua would deliver a dominant and explosive performance against Fury, while also accusing the former world champion of being jealous of Joshua’s greater commercial appeal.

The Joshua knockout over Fury prediction came as speculation intensified over a blockbuster Saudi Arabia bout following both fighters’ scheduled warm-up contests.

“Tyson can say whatever he wants to say, but he is going to talk so much crap,” Chisora said.

“‘AJ’ is having a warm-up fight, he has been through a lot. It is in Saudi because the war is done, so we are going to Saudi now for Riyadh Season.”

Chisora, who faced Fury three times during his career, claimed Fury was frustrated by Joshua’s drawing power and global audience figures.

“The problem with Tyson is that he is jealous, because ‘AJ’ will do more numbers, more viewers, than he did in his fight on Netflix. This is simple maths,” Chisora added.

“He’s going to come in there and talk crap, he can talk so much crap, but at the end of the day, I say this now — Tyson and AJ? AJ will knock him out in four rounds.”

Joshua is set to headline a Riyadh card on July 25 against Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga in what will be his first bout against a recognised professional boxer since 2023, excluding his stoppage victory over YouTube personality Jake Paul in December 2025.

Fury, meanwhile, returned to winning form in April with a points victory over Russian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is expected to take another tune-up fight in August.

Promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have both stated that the proposed Joshua-Fury showdown will only proceed if both men emerge victorious from their preparatory bouts.

The potential clash remains one of the most anticipated fights in British boxing history, with fans waiting years for the fierce rivals to finally settle their rivalry inside the ring.
