Departing Manchester City FC manager Pep Guardiola reportedly warned his players against displaying the kind of reaction shown by Bruno Fernandes during a Manchester derby clash against Manchester United FC.

According to reports by The Athletic, Guardiola addressed the issue following City’s emphatic 3-0 victory over United in September.

Rather than focusing solely on his team’s performance, the City boss reportedly highlighted Fernandes’ visible frustration with his teammates after Phil Foden scored the opening goal for City.

Fernandes was seen openly berating fellow United players as City celebrated the breakthrough goal at Old Trafford.

Reports claimed Guardiola prepared video clips of the incident to show his players, stressing that while Fernandes is regarded as a talented footballer, such public displays of frustration towards teammates would not be tolerated at City.
