The Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rangers International, moved through major streets of Enugu with players, officials and supporters taking part in a lively procession that ended at Okpara Square, where fans gathered to celebrate the club’s latest triumph.

The Rangers NPFL trophy parade Enugu followed their title-clinching 2–1 victory over Ikorodu City in Lagos on Sunday, May 24, a result that sealed a tightly contested championship race.

The Flying Antelopes secured the league crown on the final day of the season after edging Rivers United by a single point, finishing with 68 points to confirm their dominance in a dramatic campaign.

During the parade, the team also paid a courtesy visit to the Enugu State Government House, where Governor Dr Peter Mbah hosted the players and officials in recognition of their achievement.

The celebration highlighted the resilience of the squad, who went into the decisive fixture knowing only a win would guarantee the title, especially with Rivers United also pushing strongly with a convincing final-day result of their own.
