Ansu Fati has reflected on his resurgence in form at AS Monaco, as reports indicate the Ligue 1 side are close to making his move permanent following a productive loan spell.

Speaking on his revival, Fati said he has finally regained confidence and consistency after several difficult seasons disrupted by injuries and limited playing time.

“I feel comfortable playing and I’m enjoying it. It’s been years since I’ve been able to play consistently or feel so free on the pitch,” he said, adding that regular football has helped him rediscover his rhythm.

“My dream has always been to succeed at Barça, but many things have happened that people don’t see,” he explained.

His father, Bori Fati, has also reportedly supported the idea of a permanent stay in Monaco, as the player looks to prioritise stability and development.
