Dangote Cement Chairman Emmanuel Ikazoboh to headline ICC Nigeria 2025 Annual Dinner, focusing on global trade, economic stability, and strategic dialogue

The Chairman of Dangote Cement Plc, Emmanuel Ikazoboh, will headline the International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria 2025 Annual Dinner and Dance on Friday, 28 November 2025, at the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos, the Chamber announced on Tuesday.

Olubunmi Osuntuyi, Secretary-General of ICC Nigeria, described Mr Ikazoboh as an accomplished corporate leader with extensive experience in global business and governance.

She said the Chamber is honoured to welcome him as the Special Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker for the evening.

Ikazoboh is expected to deliver a keynote address titled “Tackling Global Trade Frictions for Peace and Prosperity”, highlighting strategies for stabilising economies amid rising global tariff wars and trade tensions.

Dr Raymond Ihyembe, ICC Nigeria Chairman and Chief Host of the event, praised the choice of speaker and theme, noting that the dinner serves as a vital platform to promote economic stability and progress.

The event will bring together leaders from both the public and private sectors, captains of industry, diplomats, and members of the international business community for an evening of networking, celebration, and strategic dialogue.

Osuntuyi added that the Annual Dinner and Dance is one of ICC Nigeria’s flagship events, providing a forum to showcase the organisation’s role in trade facilitation, policy advocacy, and the promotion of global best practices.

The evening will also feature the unveiling of the ICC Framework for Responsible Environmental Marketing Communication and new guidance on the responsible use of artificial intelligence in advertising.

The International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria serves as the Nigerian National Committee of the ICC, the world’s largest and most influential business organisation, representing over 45 million companies in more than 170 countries.
