The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared two additional individuals wanted in connection with an alleged cryptocurrency fraud scheme linked to the collapsed digital trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).

This brings further pressure on those accused of orchestrating financial crimes within the burgeoning crypto market.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, via its official social media channels, the anti-graft agency identified the suspects as Folashade Odelana, 31, and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, 32.

Both individuals are accused of orchestrating fraudulent activities on the platform, which reportedly led to substantial financial losses for unsuspecting investors across Nigeria.

According to the EFCC, the last known address of the duo is No. 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State. The commission is appealing to the public for information that could lead to their arrest.

“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear below are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the statement read in part.

This development underscores the EFCC’s ongoing efforts to tackle digital currency-related crimes and protect investors from fraudulent schemes. The agency continues to warn the public about the risks associated with unregulated online trading platforms.
