England leads the world’s most valuable national teams with a €1.62bn squad, ahead of France and Spain, according to Transfermarkt

Transfermarkt has revealed the world’s most valuable national teams as the March international break takes place. England leads the rankings with a squad valued at €1.62 billion.

France ranks second with a squad valuation of €1.41 billion, while Spain, the reigning European champions, take third place with a 27-man squad worth €1.31 billion.

Portugal is fourth with a 26-man roster valued at €865 million, followed closely by Italy at €858 million.

Brazil (€854m), Germany (€817m), Argentina (€782m), the Netherlands (€712m), and Belgium (€549m) round out the top 10.
