Faith Ekwebenam wins Miss International Nigeria 2025, securing her spot to represent Nigeria at the global pageant in Tokyo this November

Faith Ekwebenam has emerged as the winner of Miss International Nigeria 2025, bringing a second major beauty title to Anambra State in a matter of weeks.

Ekwebenam was crowned at the pageant’s grand finale on Sunday after delivering an outstanding performance that impressed both judges and audiences. Representing Anambra, she outshone fel in Tokyo, Japan, on November 27, 2025.

Faith Ekwebenam’s victory marks a new chapter in Nigeria’s continued presence at one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants. The Miss International contest, h”Big Four” beauty pageants globally.

She follows in the footsteps of Perpetual Ukadike, Nigeria’s 2024 delegate, and is expected to promote Nigerian heritage and values on the world stage.

“This win is not just for me — it’s for every young girl who dreams big,” Ekwebenam said in her first post-crowning remarks.

In a stunning coincidence, Anambra also produced the winner of Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, Onyinyechi Basil, in a separate contest held recently in Lagos.

With two national titles now under its belt, Anambra is enjoying an unprecedented moment in Nigeria’s pageant history.

Basil will go on to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant later this year.

Industry watchers say the double win places Anambra in the spotlight and raises expectations for Nigeria’s performance on the international stage.
