Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’, Fayose said the Peoples Democratic Party’s internal wranglings have rendered it ineffective.

“I said to you about a year ago that the PDP is in trouble and if you don’t find that solution on time, the party will be dead and the party is dead,” he stated.

The statement follows a Federal High Court ruling in Abuja, which for the second time barred the PDP from holding its 2025 National Convention, scheduled for November 15-16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Fayose also pointed to high-profile defections, noting that the Governor of Taraba has been handed over to the APC National Chairman by President Tinubu, and that the Governor of Plateau is expected to leave the PDP soon. “After him, another governor will follow,” he added.
