Five teams reach the Carabao Cup fourth round as Arsenal beat Ipswich 4-2 and Liverpool see off Tottenham 3-1

On Tuesday, 15 September 2026, five clubs booked places in the Carabao Cup fourth round after the third-round ties were completed.

Arsenal beat Ipswich Town 4-2 at Portman Road. Max Dowman scored twice on his first appearance of the season. Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino also scored. Anis Mehmeti and Chuba Akpom replied for Ipswich.

Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1, with Dominik Szoboszlai sealing the win with a striking late effort. Fulham edged West Ham United 3-2.

Brentford beat Reading 2-1. Peterborough United needed penalties to eliminate Barnsley after the match finished 2-2.
