Gary Neville PSG Champions League Prediction sees the pundit favouring PSG over Arsenal despite the Gunners’ Premier League success

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has predicted that Paris Saint-Germain will remain favourites to win the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal, despite the north London club’s recent Premier League triumph.

Arsenal sealed their long-awaited domestic title on Sunday, ending a 22-year wait to be crowned champions of England after finishing ahead of Manchester City in a tightly contested title race.

Following Manchester City’s draw against Bournemouth earlier in the week, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta rested several key players for their final Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

The Gunners still secured a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park as celebrations followed their historic achievement.

Attention has now shifted to the Champions League final, where Arsenal will face PSG on Saturday, May 30, in what promises to be a high-stakes encounter.

Neville suggested that Arsenal may benefit from the additional rest afforded to their squad but insisted that PSG remain the stronger side heading into the final.

Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, he praised PSG manager Luis Enrique, describing him as an obsessive and serial winner with a relentless mentality that drives success.

“It’s going to be tough for them, I’ll be honest with you, because I think that PSG are on a different level,” Neville said.

“They have that ruthless mentality within them, that they will do anything to win, and they consistently achieve victory.”

He further described Luis Enrique as one of the most dominant managerial figures in world football at present.

Arsenal will be contesting only their second Champions League final, having previously suffered defeat to Barcelona in 2006.
