Family of Isaac Satla, a 22-year-old Plateau student murdered in South Africa, seeks financial help to repatriate his body to Jos for burial

The family of Isaac Satla, a 22-year-old student from Plateau State, has appealed for urgent financial assistance to repatriate his remains following his murder in South Africa.

Isaac, who was working as a Bolt e-hailing driver, was abducted and killed by two passengers on February 11, 2026, with his body and stolen vehicle later found in Atteridgeville, Pretoria, Atteridgeville.

The family, represented by his uncle Otila Onaja, emphasized the emotional and financial strain of transporting Isaac back to his hometown in Jos for a dignified burial.

Onaja described Isaac as a hardworking and kind young man studying mobile engineering, whose life and promising future were tragically cut short.

The family is calling on the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, government authorities, the Nigerian community in South Africa, well-wishers, and the general public to assist in repatriating Isaac’s body.
