The unveiling of the two models — the JAC T9 Pickup and the JAC JS8 Pro SUV — drew dignitaries, auto enthusiasts, and industry leaders who praised the company’s consistency in offering durable and stylish vehicles suited for local conditions.

Chairman Oye Hassan-Odukale said Elizade JAC Autoland has remained true to its vision of connecting customers with vehicles that balance performance, reliability, and design excellence. “We affirm our promise to deliver vehicles Nigerians can trust, enjoy, and be proud to own. As we unveil the T9 and JS8 Pro, you will find them remarkable additions to our growing family,” he said.

Senior Brand Manager Olumide Olaokun described the new vehicles as a perfect blend of ruggedness and refinement, designed with the Nigerian family in mind. “When you choose the JAC T9 or JS8 Pro, you’re choosing durability, safety, and comfort that meet global standards,” he added.

The JAC T9 Pickup, built on the company’s third-generation chassis platform, comes equipped with a turbocharged engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and an impressive 3,500kg towing capacity.

Inside, drivers will find a 10.4-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging — all wrapped in a robust, high-strength safety frame.

Meanwhile, the JAC JS8 Pro SUV caters to families and professionals seeking space and sophistication.

It boasts a seven-seater configuration, panoramic sunroof, dual 24.6-inch digital display, and over 2,000 litres of boot space with the rear seats folded.

Its efficient engine offers 7.9L/100km fuel economy, providing a balance of power and performance.

Managing Director Demola Ade-Ojo emphasised the company’s continued dedication to innovation and affordability. “Our goal is to keep Nigerians inspired with vehicles that combine technology, performance, and design at the right value,” he said.

He also unveiled customer-friendly initiatives such as extended warranties and flexible payment plans through banking partners.

Bruce Zhao, JAC International’s Sales Manager for West Africa, celebrated the brand’s 61-year heritage in engineering and innovation, noting that the JAC T9 and JS8 Pro launch represents the company’s ongoing trust in the Nigerian market.

The event’s highlight came when Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, founder of Elizade JAC Autoland, was presented with a brand new RF8 Hybrid Electric Vehicle in recognition of his enduring contributions to Nigeria’s auto industry.
