The incident occurred on March 4, according to counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, who shared details on his X handle on Thursday.

Makama stated that the bandits attacked a 34-year-old farmer, Alaramma Lawal Musa, from Barkinshi village while he was on his way to his farm on the outskirts of the community.

Musa resisted the attack and managed to stab one of the assailants before sustaining serious machete cuts.
