MTN Nigeria held nationwide AFCON watch parties, celebrating the Super Eagles’ bronze finish and the Morocco-Senegal final with fans and giveaways

MTN Nigeria organised nationwide watch parties for the third-place playoff and final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), celebrating African football excellence in Morocco.

Senegal were crowned champions after a 1–0 extra-time victory over hosts Morocco, while Nigeria secured third place with a 4–2 penalty shootout win against Egypt following a goalless draw.

Supporters enjoyed live match screenings, giveaways, and exotic prizes across various locations nationwide.

Fans turned out in large numbers, generating a carnival-like atmosphere as they followed Nigeria’s bronze medal achievement and the thrilling final between Senegal and Morocco.

MTN Nigeria Chief Executive Officer Karl Toriola congratulated the Super Eagles, praising their resilience and composure throughout the tournament.
