Naira gains against dollar to close the week on a slightly positive note, according to the latest figures from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

On Friday, the Naira traded at N1,534.72 per U.S. dollar, marking a 0.05% appreciation—or 4.52 kobo gain—compared to Thursday’s closing rate of N1,534.79.

Although the week began with a mild 20 kobo decline on Monday, the local currency experienced relatively stable trading throughout, with minor fluctuations.

It recorded a rate of N1,535.24 on Tuesday and N1,535.62 on Wednesday before strengthening slightly by week’s end.

The overall movement highlights the Naira’s resilience amid ongoing foreign exchange volatility, as the CBN continues its efforts to stabilize the market and improve liquidity.
