Netflix has introduced a major update that allows television viewers to select from the full list of available subtitles and dubbing languages for any title.

This expansion enhances accessibility, particularly as nearly a third of Netflix’s global audience watches non-English language content.

Previously, TV users were limited to language options based on their location and settings.

With this update, they can now access the complete range of available languages for any show or movie—similar to the flexibility already available on mobile devices and web browsers.

For example, a viewer can now enjoy an English series like *Bridgerton* with Spanish dubbing and Korean subtitles or switch to Japanese dubbing with Portuguese subtitles.

Netflix currently offers subtitles in 33 languages and audio dubbing in 36 languages, though availability varies by title.

This change comes in response to user feedback requesting greater language flexibility on TV platforms.
