Neymar Under Fire From Santos Supporters unfolded as frustrated fans jeered the 34-year-old following a late collapse that saw Santos concede a decisive goal after twice losing control of the match.

Neymar, visibly agitated by the reaction, was seen leaving the pitch with his fingers placed in his ears, a gesture interpreted as a response to sustained booing from sections of the home crowd.

The forward later addressed the incident on social media, expressing disappointment at the intensity of criticism directed at him during the match.

“The day has arrived when I have to explain an EAR SCRATCH! Folks, honestly, you’re going way too harsh and crossing the line… It’s just too sad to have to put up with this. No human being can take it,” Neymar wrote.

The match itself saw Santos struggle to maintain control despite taking leads during the game, only to be punished by defensive lapses that allowed Fluminense to mount a comeback.

John Kennedy scored the decisive late goal for Fluminense, deepening frustration among the home supporters as Santos’ poor run of form continued.

The result means Santos have now won just two of their last ten matches in all competitions, leaving them precariously positioned near the relegation zone.

Neymar, who has contributed four goals and three assists in nine appearances this season, was also criticised for missing a late opportunity that could have changed the outcome of the match.
