Nigerian Education Loan Fund relocation to new Abuja headquarters takes effect Friday, with services continuing uninterrupted for students nationwide

Nigerian Education Loan Fund relocation to a new permanent headquarters in Abuja has been confirmed, with the agency assuring Nigerians that services will remain uninterrupted.

In a statement signed by its Director of Strategic Communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, NELFUND said the move takes effect from Friday. The new office is located at House 12, Plot 103/104, Monrovia Street, Wuse 2, opposite Bon Hotel, Federal Capital Territory.

“All official correspondence, visits, and enquiries should kindly be directed to our new address,” the agency announced.

The loan body emphasized that the relocation would not disrupt its operations. “NELFUND remains fully operational and committed to its mandate of providing affordable education loans and support to Nigerian students across the country,” the statement read.

Expressing gratitude, the agency added: “We appreciate your trust and continued support as we work to expand access to higher education financing nationwide.”

Established by the Federal Government in 2023 under President Bola Tinubu, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund was created to provide interest-free loans to students in tertiary institutions.

Repayment is structured to begin two years after beneficiaries complete the National Youth Service Corps programme.
