NYSC DG Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu urges 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members to embrace patriotism, integrity, and commitment during and beyond service year

Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, on Tuesday called on Corps Members to imbibe the core values of the scheme throughout their service year and beyond while addressing the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members in Rivers State.

Speaking during the Orientation Course, Nafiu urged the youth to demonstrate patriotism and allow integrity, efficiency, transparency, and commitment to guide their actions.

He commended the Corps Members for responding to the call to serve their fatherland and encouraged them to make meaningful contributions to national development.

Earlier, the NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, presented the camp situation report, noting that the 2,586 Corps Members undergoing the Orientation Course had shown high levels of discipline, patriotism, and commitment.

Nafiu’s address highlights the NYSC’s continued efforts to instill strong civic virtues and a sense of national duty in Nigerian youth as they prepare to contribute to society positively during and after their service year.
