Okpebholo congratulates Oba Ewuare on his birthday and ninth coronation anniversary, extolling the monarch’s enduring commitment to peace, unity, and cultural preservation in Edo State.

In a heartfelt message issued Monday in Benin by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, Governor Monday Okpebholo celebrated the revered Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Ewuare II, as a beacon of stability and progress in the state.

“On behalf of the government and the good people of Edo, I convey my regards and prayers to our father, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, on his birthday and 9th coronation anniversary,” the governor said.

Okpebholo congratulates Oba Ewuare not only for his symbolic role but also for his practical influence in tackling societal ills and fostering harmony across communities.

He described the Oba as “a unique ruler” whose reign has inspired development and unity within the ancient Benin Kingdom and beyond.

Highlighting the monarch’s role in Edo’s emerging vision, Okpebholo added, “His Royal Majesty’s efforts in promoting peace and offering moral direction are vital to our ‘New Edo’ agenda.”

He prayed for the monarch’s long life, good health and continued strength, describing Oba Ewuare’s reign as one marked by wisdom, diplomatic depth and a sincere devotion to the welfare of his people.

“I pledge my continued respect and support to the Benin Royal Palace and will work tirelessly with His Royal Majesty to ensure a prosperous future for all Edo residents,” Okpebholo affirmed.
