Victor Osimhen refused to play for Galatasaray against Konyaspor over the weekend because of a knee injury, according to Turkish sports commentator Ibrahim Seten.

Seten explained on the 343 Digital YouTube channel that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk wanted Osimhen to travel for the match, but the Nigerian international insisted on resting due to pain.

Osimhen’s absence contributed to Galatasaray losing 2-0 away.
