Fayose declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will likely finish fourth in Nigeria’s 2027 general elections  a staggering forecast for a party that once held the presidency.

He didn’t mince words: “A lot is wrong with our party (PDP), and that is the naked truth.” Fayose expressed regret for missing the party’s recent National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, although he was formally invited.

Highlighting the PDP Crisis, he pointed to widespread internal decay, unresolved leadership disputes, and the exodus of major figures like Atiku Abubakar and David Mark.
