Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang directs security agencies to intensify efforts to arrest perpetrators of the Ratatis community attack that killed at least seven people

Caleb Mutfwang has ordered security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend those responsible for the recent attack on Ratatis community in Dorowa Babuje, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday, February 22, 2026, claimed at least seven lives.

Governor Mutfwang condemned the killings as barbaric, senseless, and a setback to the relative peace achieved through sustained dialogue, reconciliation, and community engagement across the state.

A statement released by the Joyce Ramnap said the government was monitoring the condition of those injured and ensuring they received proper treatment in health facilities.
