Primate Ayodele warns Tinubu to secure Northern support for 2027, says City Boy Movement may fail and urges stronger political alliances

Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a political warning to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to intensify efforts to secure support from Northern Nigeria ahead of the 2027 elections, in what has been described as the Primate Ayodele Tinubu 2027 warning.

In a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric said the North remains a critical region that has not yet fully aligned with Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

The Primate Ayodele Tinubu 2027 warning emphasized that the President must rely on genuine political engagement rather than being misled by assurances that do not reflect realities on the ground.

He warned that without stronger relationships with Northern leaders, Tinubu could face significant political resistance during the next election cycle.

According to him, there is ongoing political tension in the region that requires careful handling, adding that the President must work directly with traditional and religious leaders to strengthen acceptance.

Primate Ayodele also commented on the influence of Seyi Tinubu and the so-called “City Boy Movement,” stating that they would not significantly impact the North in securing electoral support.

He advised the President to take direct control of his political strategy in the region rather than relying on intermediaries.

The cleric further warned that political dynamics in the North could become more complex ahead of 2027 if not properly managed, urging proactive engagement to avoid future crises.
