Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for re-election in 2027, saying it will enable states and local government councils to continue delivering dividends of democracy.

Radda made the announcement on Monday at a gathering organised by the Concerned Katsina APC Stakeholders, where Senators, House of Reps members, state assembly members, local government chairmen, former governors Alhaji Aminu Masari and Alhaji Ibrahim Shema, and Katsina elders also endorsed Tinubu and Radda.

The governor praised Tinubu for releasing funds to states and LGs, enabling development projects and improved services across the country.

“People of Katsina are happy with what we have been doing, and this is because of the funds he has been releasing to the states and the LGs. This endorsement encourages us to do more for the people,” Radda said.

Senator Ibrahim Ida, chairman of the Concerned APC Stakeholders, said the endorsement followed the leadership qualities displayed by Tinubu and Radda, which had enhanced citizens’ quality of life over two-and-a-half years.

Deputy Senate President Barau Jibril also lauded Radda as one of the hardest-working governors in the country and highlighted APC’s growing influence in 29 states.

APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda commended Radda for transforming Katsina with improved roads, schools, health facilities, and drinking water, urging him to continue the development efforts.
