The 24-year-old smashed his Ferrari following a tyre blowout while driving to Stansted Airport for Spurs’ flight to Frankfurt.

Team-mate Wilson Odobert, who was travelling with him, pulled over to check on Kolo Muani.

Both players were unharmed and later joined the team for the trip, with manager Thomas Frank confirming they are expected to be available for selection.

“That is my absolute understanding of everything. I haven’t spoken to them personally yet. They are fine. Everyone else involved in that accident was fine. It was a tyre blowing up… They will fly out later and I fully expect both to be available,” Frank said.

Spurs’ challenges have deepened this week, with Pedro Porro ruled out for a month with a hamstring injury and Micky van de Ven also missing the trip.
