Real Madrid reportedly made a €150 million bid targeting Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, according to fresh transfer revelations.

The Bayern Munich star, who remains under contract until 2029, is regarded as a key figure in the German club’s long-term plans following his impressive performances over recent seasons.

Olise has delivered outstanding numbers, recording 53 goal contributions, comprising 22 goals and 31 assists, in 52 competitive appearances, helping Bayern secure a domestic double.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the bid linked to Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez was indeed directed at the French-born attacker.

“I can say with absolute certainty that Florentino Pérez intended to pursue Michael Olise, and representatives of Real Madrid have confirmed this,” Romano said.

However, Bayern Munich reportedly rejected any approach outright, refusing to open negotiations despite Madrid’s strong interest.

“FC Bayern have completely shut the door, both behind closed doors and in public, and did not want to enter into any negotiations,” Romano added.

The firm stance from Bayern effectively halted any progress on the potential deal, forcing Real Madrid to reconsider their transfer strategy.

Reports also indicate that Madrid have explored alternative attacking targets following the setback, as competition for elite forwards continues to intensify across Europe.
